In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison for aftermarket support related to specific engine programs. Your responsibilities will include soliciting requests for quotes and proposals for repairs, while utilizing strong negotiation skills to select vendors based on quality, reliability, and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the principal contact for aftermarket support related to specific engine programs.
  • Assess pricing requirements, initiate supply chain processes, and monitor/report on milestones; execute requests for quotes, conduct quote evaluations, negotiate competitive pricing, and award contracts based on optimal value.
  • Identify potential business opportunities and undertake necessary actions to support them; analyze supplier pricing data and develop complex Excel evaluations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance value for both Raytheon Technologies and our clients; possess a foundational understanding of acquisition regulations.
  • Effectively collaborate with various internal departments, external suppliers, and business units across all organizational levels.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of procurement experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience. An Associate's degree with 4+ years or 6+ years of pertinent experience will also be considered.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading cross-functional teams and projects; a minimum of 2 years in Procurement or Supply Chain is essential.
  • Experience in supporting U.S. Government proposals is necessary.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for access to sensitive information related to this program.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, with the ability to analyze and create complex reports and metrics from ERP data to support decision-making and supplier interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with procurement processes related to government contracts is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a proven track record of enhancing business performance; ability to communicate effectively across various disciplines within the organization.
  • Capability to initiate, lead, and sustain change initiatives with suppliers.
  • Ability to foster a positive and empowering work environment with colleagues and vendors.
  • Experience with SAP/POWER BI or similar ERP systems is preferred.
Additional Information:
  • Hybrid roles require regular onsite and offsite work; commuting to the assigned site is the employee's responsibility.
This position is eligible for an employee referral award, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.

The salary range for this position is between 64,000 USD and 128,000 USD, reflecting a good faith estimate based on various factors, including role responsibilities, experience, and location.

Hired candidates may be eligible for a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans, among others. Specific benefits depend on the business unit and whether the position is part of a collective bargaining agreement.
