Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at All Ways Caring HomeCare. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in various settings, including home health, hospice, residential, and private duty.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist nurses with various basic care activities, including dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, and taking vital signs of patients.

Perform tasks such as answering call lights, assisting with toileting, oral care, nail care, catheter care, and transporting patients.

Report patient changes and take out trash as needed.

Provide simple or uncomplicated patient care, including cleaning rooms and changing bed linen.

Take and record temperature, pulse, and respiration rate, and administer medication as directed by a physician or nurse.

Requirements:

Minimum age requirement of 18 years.

Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policy.

Certification as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide, if required by state licensure in the state where care is provided.

Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and utilize proper body mechanics while lifting.
