Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Ambulatory Care team at Essentia Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process prescriptions and interact with patients to ensure a positive experience
  • Assist with inventory control, compounding, and management of automation systems
  • Support pharmacy leadership in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician training program or experience preferred
  • Registration as a pharmacy technician with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy (or equivalent in other states) required
  • Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) within 2 years of hire
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
