Anesthesiology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiology Specialist to join our team at Highmark Health. As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in the surgical setting.

• Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement anesthetic management for patients undergoing surgery.
• Provide continuous observation and correction of abnormal patient responses during anesthesia care.
• Participate in performance and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
• Adhere to legal and ethical standards of nursing and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Act as a clinical resource to the interdisciplinary healthcare team and may serve as a mentor to new staff or students.

• Current PA RN license
• Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
• BLS certification
• Preferred: Previous CRNA experience
