Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Supervise the shared services center staff and provide guidance and training as needed to ensure high-quality performance.
- Identify, research, and resolve items/issues impacting the shared services center to minimize disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with established policies, government regulations, and legal requirements to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, resulting in cost savings and improved productivity.
- Develop and deliver shared services metrics to management to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with other functions to resolve issues and achieve business objectives.
- Assist with financial audit preparation and audit process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting to support company operations and make data-driven decisions.
- Assist other team members to complete strategic projects/assignments and contribute to the success of the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of progressing experience in managing Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.
Work Environment:
- Office environment in a machining/fabrication facility.
- Mid-State Machine maintains a firm commitment to providing a safe and healthy work environment for its employees and quality services to its clients.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in presentations, meetings, and one-on-one dialogues.
The person in this position must be able to sit or stand in one position to use a computer for extended periods of time.
The person in this position must be able to walk or move about an office environment well enough to engage and interact with others and access files and supplies.
The person in this position must be able to see well enough to frequently use a computer and review written documents.
The person in this position must be able to carry up to 10lbs on a regular basis to carry laptop and other essential business items.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
