Position Overview:
- Process Evaluation: Examine current manufacturing workflows, pinpoint inefficiencies, and devise innovative strategies to enhance production effectiveness, minimize cycle times, and boost overall output.
- Time Analysis and Capacity Assessment: Execute time studies to identify optimal work practices, set labor benchmarks, and recognize capacity limitations. Utilize this information to formulate production timelines and resource distribution plans.
- Lean Methodologies: Implement lean principles and techniques such as 6S, value stream mapping, and standardized operations to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance workflow.
- Continuous Improvement Leadership: Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives by guiding cross-functional teams, employing statistical analysis tools, and executing process enhancements aimed at cost reduction, quality enhancement, and productivity increases.
- Root Cause Investigation: Analyze production challenges, equipment malfunctions, and quality issues to determine underlying causes and implement corrective measures to avert future occurrences.
- Data Management and Visualization: Design and establish database systems and dynamic dashboards that deliver real-time insights into key operational performance indicators.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner closely with equipment engineers, process engineers, production teams, lean leaders, and quality assurance personnel to ensure seamless process integration, resolve challenges, and meet production objectives.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a similar field is essential.
- Knowledge of direct machine control applications and methods, including SCADA software, is preferred.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Business Intelligence (BI), and Data Visualization Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Python, and SQL is advantageous.
- Expertise in process analysis tools including value stream mapping, statistical process control, and root cause analysis.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a capacity for data-driven decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
