Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team in the hospital pharmacy department.

As a pharmacist in this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical services, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Dispense medications and other pharmaceutical preparations as ordered by physicians
  • Provide pharmaceutical services, including counseling patients and healthcare teams on medication use and safety
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and medication safety
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current license to practice pharmacy in West Virginia or be license eligible
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hospital pharmacy practice
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
