Job Summary: We seek a seasoned Psychiatric APRN to join our multidisciplinary team, bringing expertise in providing high-quality psychiatric and medical care to individuals on their journey to mental wellness. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of our clinical services, collaborate with community providers, and deliver evidence-based care that promotes recovery, resilience, and holistic well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective medication management and high client satisfaction through prudent psychiatric and medical care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and community providers to generate referrals and maintain strong relationships with community agencies.
- Educate patients on preventive care and chronic disease management, directing them to appropriate resources.
- Conduct follow-up care, retrieve necessary lab and imaging reports, and submit encounters for accurate service authorization and coding.
- Meet productivity expectations and document in compliance with guidelines.
- Attend departmental meetings and contribute to grant applications and policy development.
- Maintain good relationships with clinic staff and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
- Participate in peer reviews and perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- A Psychiatric APRN must have an MSN from an accredited program and be certified by the American Nurse's Credentialing Center as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing (Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist PMH-CNS and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMH-NP). Must be Board certified or eligible.
