Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Dust, clean, and sanitize all workstations, furniture, desk, counter tops, window ledges, and office spaces.
- Floor Care: Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Trash and Recycling: Dispose of trash and empty trash receptacles, and ensure recycling bins are properly maintained.
- Restroom Maintenance: Scrub, sanitize, and ensure paper and soap dispensers are fully stocked and functional.
- Supply Management: Monitor janitorial supply inventory and order supplies as needed, following established procurement guidelines.
- Reporting and Communication: Report major damages and repairs to supervisor and maintain open communication regarding facility needs and concerns.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures, ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours, experience with using cleaning equipment, and outstanding organizational skills.
- Education and Certifications: High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
- Work Environment: Reliable and frequent attendance is required, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
