About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Ambercare, one of the largest Home Health Care companies in New Mexico. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to their personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language function, identify equipment needs, and develop personalized plans of care.
  • Administer diagnostic evaluations and provide recommendations for communication devices and aids as needed.
  • Provide direct speech services to patients, record progress, and report to providers.
  • Collaborate with patients, family members, and other agency staff to educate and support them in achieving optimal communication outcomes.
Requirements
  • Certification of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
  • Licensure as a speech therapist in the state of practice.
  • At least one year of acute care experience or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of speech therapy.
  • Current CPR certification and reliable transportation.
