Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Facilities Management: Assist in the management of facilities, including space planning, furniture moves, and employee seating.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance and repair tasks.
- Custodial Services: Maintain day-to-day facility needs and custodial requirements in common areas, manufacturing floors, office areas, and conference rooms.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other equipment as needed.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, and participate in regular safety inspections.
- Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on maintenance activities.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, plus 3+ years of work-related experience in lieu of education is acceptable.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, operations, or a related field.
- Skills: Basic computer skills, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record.
