Join Our Team as a Restoration Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Restoration Technician to join our team at Lightspeed Restoration. As a Restoration Technician, you will play a critical role in helping our customers recover from water and fire damage, as well as indoor air quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct light demolition and removal of finished building materials
  • Operate water collection vacuums or pumps to extract standing water from inside structures
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces and building contents
  • Hang or lay plastic for barricades or barriers using mechanical fasteners, tape, and adhesives
  • Clean HVAC/air duct & exhaust systems using collection vacuums, rotary, and stationary
  • Dig, rake, and spread drainage aggregate
  • Use battery-operated and corded power drills, hammer drills, circular saws, and reciprocating saws
Requirements:
  • No experience required; on-the-job training provided
  • Experience in home services or construction fields a plus
  • Working knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction practices a plus
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of basic PC operations a plus
  • Exhibit a professional, neat appearance
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs, navigate ladders, and operate in confined spaces
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug test
