Boiler Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Boiler Technician to join our team at Mechanical Concepts. As a Boiler Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial boilers and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on boilers and other equipment used to generate steam or hot water
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions with controls, pumps, valves, gauges, burners, and other components of boilers and steam generators
  • Follow safety protocols to inspect and clean boilers in order to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Conduct regular inspections of boilers to ensure that they are in good working order
  • Perform start-up of new boilers
  • Repair boilers, pumps and associated equipment
  • Record data on fuel usage, system pressure levels, and other factors that could affect safety or efficiency
  • Set combustion and tuning burners for optimum efficiency
  • Communicate with other technicians, engineers, managers and clients
