Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Vault Operations: Oversee the daily operations of our vaults, ensuring that all cash handling and inventory procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
  • Cash Handling and Inventory Management: Manage cash handling and inventory procedures, including counting and verifying cash, coins, and chips, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Security and Accountability: Maintain security and accountability over all vault funds, including chips, coins, cash currency, foreign cash currency, and paperwork.
  • Verify Funds: Verify funds received and disbursed to other departments and check cashing booth cashiers.
  • Monitor and Coordinate Activities: Monitor and coordinate activities of the vault to maintain integrity of disbursements conducted between cashier personnel and slot personnel.
  • Soft/Hard Count Room Drops: Verify and account for all soft/hard count room drops processed on a daily basis.
  • Cash Flow Management: Maintain adequate cash flow, based on business volume.
  • Deposit Information: Submit deposit information to Corporate office in Memphis on a daily basis.
  • Technical Skills: Be proficient in the function of Bill Breakers and Perconta.
  • Record Keeping: Verify all paperwork is accurately completed prior to sending to accounting/audit.
  • Team Collaboration: Adhere to established break and lunch schedule as assigned by the Cashier Manager.
  • Communication: When leaving the Vault for an extended time, notify Cashier Supervisor that is on duty.
  • Log Maintenance: Maintain a log of the repairs on Bill Breakers and Perconta.
  • Bank Deposits: Responsible for the preparation of bank deposits on assigned shift.
  • Variance Resolution: Work with Cashier Supervisor to investigate and resolve variances on assigned shift.
  • Customer Service: Treat all internal customers with prompt, courteous, and friendly service when dealing with all vault personnel.
  • Shift Balancing: Responsible for balancing vault shift successfully and accurately.
  • Variance Reporting: In the event of a variance, during your shift, it will be shared among the assigned personnel in the Vault.
  • Reporting: Any variances that are in excess of $500.00 or more will be reported to the Casino Controller, prior to leaving your assigned shift.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Be flexible with your schedule and be willing to assist in any cashiering area as needed and instructed to do so by the Cashier Supervisor on duty.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and systems.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with team members.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of AS/400 computer system, Microsoft Word/Excel, currency and coin counters, 10-key, and PC (EDT systems).
  • Property and Department Policies: Understanding of property and department policies and procedures.
  • Accounting Background: Accounting background or equivalent experience.
  • Education: High school education or equivalent.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to continually lift coin bags and coin storage cans weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in an environment of various levels of noise and large crowds.
  • Standing: Ability to stand on feet for more than three (3) hours at a time.
