Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically able individual to perform various cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and painting. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and health procedures, and working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all cleaning functions of the building, including locker rooms, restrooms, break room, offices, and smoke shack
  • Clean floors, windows, and other surfaces using various cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Strip and wax floors, clean respirators, and dispose of trash and cardboard
  • Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and maintain a clean work area
  • Perform daily house cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, washing, and painting
  • Cover shifts due to vacation or employee absence and work weekends as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and perform simple math
  • Training requirements: forklift and floor scrubber license, RCRA Training, Annual training
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Excellent attendance and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
