Position Summary:
As a Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the GMP zone within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report safety incidents and adhere to all Company and Plant Safety Policies.
  • Complete assigned Master Sanitation Schedule tasks.
  • Follow GMP guidelines and report any food safety issues.
  • Maintain proper PPE and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Restock and oversee handwashing and water stations.
  • Clean and maintain common area floors and walls.
  • Manage waste disposal in common areas.
  • Handle bulk chemical deliveries and restock cleaning supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Physical capability to lift, kneel, bend, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to learn forklift and floor scrubber operations.

Skills Required:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and listening skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and neatness.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
