We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Aide to join our team at Palmetto General Hospital. As a Surgical Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical department.
Key Responsibilities- Transport patients to and from various patient care areas and departments within the hospital.
- Clean and maintain surgical areas after procedures, adhering to our 30-minute turnover goal.
- Stock and order supplies, receiving and stocking in the OR.
- Assist with set-up for surgical procedures, obtaining necessary equipment and assisting with patient movement.
- Provide support in PACU and Holding as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current BLS card from American Heart Association within 3 months.
- Good oral communication skills in English.
- Able to function calmly in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
