Gastroenterology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Specialist to join our team at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Internal Medicine and Advanced Endoscopy, with a passion for teaching and research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in the in-patient hospital setting and outpatient clinics.
• Supervise and teach students, residents, and fellows in both in-patient and outpatient care.
• Participate in academic activities, including education, clinical care, and research.
• Engage in the advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship.
• Contribute to the community through academically-related public service.

Requirements:

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Successful completion of ACGME-accredited residency training in Internal Medicine.
• Successful completion of ACGME-accredited fellowship training in gastroenterology.
• Successful completion of ACGME-accredited fellowship training in advanced endoscopy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
• Board certification in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
• Board certification in Advanced Endoscopy by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
