Job Summary:As an ICU Registered Nurse - Advanced Skills, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing your expertise in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients on admission and develop a comprehensive care plan, incorporating input from the patient, family, and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments, utilizing the seven rights of medication administration.
- Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes, initiating emergency measures as needed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including therapy and procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise in critical care nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BCLS certification and ACLS required.
- Minimum one year training and experience in Critical Care.
