Traveling Registered Nurse - Imaging and Interventional Radiology

Boulder Community Health is actively seeking a dedicated **Registered Nurse** to join our **Imaging and Interventional Radiology** team. This position offers a **full-time** schedule with **four ten-hour shifts** each week, along with on-call responsibilities requiring a **30-minute response time**. The compensation for this role ranges from **$80.00 to $100.00 per hour**, contingent upon market conditions at the time of the formal offer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across various departments including **Interventional Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine**, and **Diagnostic Imaging**.
  • Ensure patient safety by reviewing all pre-procedural tests and promptly reporting any unusual findings to the radiologist.
  • Start and manage IV access, including the initiation and discontinuation of port access.
  • Continuously monitor patient conditions for immediate recognition and management of any changes.
  • Administer intravenous sedatives for procedural sedation and carefully titrate medications as necessary.
  • Facilitate effective communication between departments, collaborating closely with medical staff and physicians.
  • Assist anesthesia teams during MRI sedation procedures and monitor patients with pacemakers during MRI exams.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in **ICU** or **Interventional Radiology** is essential.
  • A valid **Colorado Registered Nurse** license is required.
  • **ACLS** certification must be obtained by the end of the conditional period.
  • **BLS** certification is also required by the end of the conditional period.
