The Clinical Nurse Leader is a registered nurse who demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for patients.
The delivery of care is based on criteria that are age-appropriate and considers the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of each individual patient.
The Clinical Nurse Leader may rotate to other areas outside of their normally assigned service area and will perform duties for which they have demonstrated competency.
The Clinical Nurse Leader performs delegated duties consistent with their scope of practice and operates within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at NSMC.
The Clinical Nurse Leader shows positive support for NSMC and the entire HealthONE organization. The Clinical Nurse Leader cares for patients from adolescents to geriatrics.Position Requirements:
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Two to four years of acute care/specialty nursing experience is desirable.
- 1 to 3 years of previous experience in a charge/supervisory position is desirable; able to articulate and demonstrate knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
