Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler for our Vactor Manufacturing division, focusing on the 2nd shift. This role offers a competitive starting wage of $28.58/hr.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components and sub-assemblies according to technical drawings and verbal instructions.
  • Execute electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical tasks with precision.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times.
  • Be prepared for overtime as required by production demands.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of 2 years in mechanical assembly with a strong mechanical aptitude is essential.

Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, hydraulic schematics, diagrams, and build tickets is required. Candidates should also be capable of operating overhead cranes, hoists, and various air and electric hand tools.

Physical Requirements: Ability to maintain prolonged postures such as bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing, and squatting while performing job tasks. Candidates must also be able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
