Role Responsibilities
As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting with cardiac catheterization and various electrophysiological procedures. In a healthcare setting such as an operating room or cath lab, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and maintaining medical equipment
- Assisting surgical teams during procedures
- Monitoring patient vital signs
- Ensuring sterile conditions are upheld
You may also provide care for patients undergoing a range of procedures, including angioplasty, stent placements, and fluoroscopy.
Minimum Qualifications- At least 1 year of recent experience in acute care as a Cath Lab Technologist
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state licensure
