Job Summary

Prime AE Group, a leading architectural and engineering firm, is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Construction Supervisor to oversee the monitoring and inspection of highway/structure construction projects for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). This role will involve supervising the monitoring and inspection of construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, and collaborating with contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the monitoring and inspection of highway/structure construction projects for PennDOT
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, including Specification 408, RC, BC, TC, and contract special provisions
  • Review project plans and contractor schedules
  • Complete Project Site Activity reports (PSA's) and other needed project documentation
  • Prepare work orders and estimates as per the Publication - Project Office Manuel
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and experience with highway/structure construction inspection (TCI) with certifications
  • Civil Engineering Degree can be substituted for TCI experience and certifications
  • Ability to work independently and/or supervise staff as needed by client
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
