Clinical Neuromuscular Neurologist

UW Medicine is seeking an outstanding clinical neuromuscular neurologist to join our team at the University of Washington Medical Center. This is a full-time appointment at the Assistant Professor (without tenure) rank.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide variety of clinical duties, including general neurology, muscular dystrophy association/amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, electrodiagnostic, autonomic disorders, and neuromuscular disease clinics as outpatient attending.
- Engage in teaching, research, and service as a member of a busy academic service.
- Participate in multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30).
- Eligible for paid time off, equivalent to one month of service.
- MD or DO or foreign equivalent degree.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Washington.
- Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology and Neuro-Oncology (or eligibility to sit for the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties accreditation).
- Eligibility for University sponsorship for an H1B visa (for graduates of foreign medical schools).
- Competitive base salary range: $213,480 to $242,436 per year.
- Other compensation associated with this position may include startup, relocation incentive/moving allowance, administrative supplement for a defined administrative role, or productivity incentive.
