Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN provides both pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, advocating for patients to ensure an unparalleled experience.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit knowledge of human growth and development, assessment range of treatment, and care for patients of varying ages.
  • Promote customer service initiatives in alignment with Skyline Medical Center Service Values.
  • Document all aspects of patient care thoroughly.
  • Utilize the Nursing Process to provide individualized care tailored to patient needs.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in performing technical skills and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with National Patient Safety Goals by assessing patient conditions upon admission and during each shift, reporting any changes in status.

Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses, maintaining knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to cardiac and medical-surgical care.


Qualifications:
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee or an appropriate compact state.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Education: ASN or BSN preferred.
