Store Manager Trainee

Circle K is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager Trainee to join our team. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, including supervising employees, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

• Leadership and Management
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates to provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
• Site Relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Promote a positive image of the store within the community.
• Training and Development
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching to employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Develop and implement training programs to improve sales and customer service skills.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
• Communication
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Conduct regular meetings with employees to discuss goals, progress, and concerns.
  • Ensure that all employees receive regular feedback and coaching.
• Organizing and Planning
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Manage and supervise store employees to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Stay organized and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
• Financial
  • Manage store finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing sales and expense data.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and reduce costs.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in financial management.
• Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Be able to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.

• Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience required.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and customer service.
• Skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
