We are seeking a highly skilled clinician-scientist to join our team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a clinician educator in the Department of Family Medicine, you will play a key role in advancing the tripartite mission of the UNC School of Medicine, including excellent patient care, superior teaching, and impactful research.
The successful candidate will have a scholarly focus on chronic illness and/or problems of aging and will serve as a clinician educator in the Department and as Deputy Director of the Sheps Center's Program on Aging, Chronic Illness, and Long-Term Care.
As a faculty physician in family medicine, you will be an integral part of the department's success, providing patient care in one of our Family Medicine Centers and/or on our inpatient service at UNC Hillsborough Hospital. You will also have opportunities to develop a scholarly interest and engage in community outreach and professional events.
