Job Title: IT Coordinator

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for technology? We are seeking an IT Coordinator to join our team at the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic role that requires a strong understanding of IT systems and processes. As an IT Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining quality vendor relationships, facilitating IT procurements, and coordinating effective IT governance processes, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of IT assets and vendor relationships
  • Facilitate IT procurements and ensure compliance with state regulations
  • Coordinate IT governance processes, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff on IT-related issues
Requirements:
  • Three (3) years of experience in information systems, asset management, vendor relationship management, or governance/process management
  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field
  • One (1) year of experience in information systems, asset management, vendor relationship management, or governance/process management
Desired Attributes:
  • Expertise in IT governance coordination, including meeting facilitation, meeting management, record keeping, policy development, report development, governance communication, etc.
  • Expertise in vendor and contract management, including contract development/review/administration, procurement, Service Level Agreement (SLA) monitoring, vendor negotiations, vendor performance evaluation, etc.
  • Expertise in IT budget and asset management, including inventory tracking, lifecycle management, specification review, budget development, expense tracking, license management, etc.
  • Expertise in complex communication, coordination, and collaboration with technical and non-technical staff, partner agencies, and agency
  • Expertise in translating an organization's mission, vision, and values into technology systems and identifying and addressing systemic barriers to equity and inclusion
