KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Product Manufacturing to lead our manufacturing operations across 5 facilities in the Houston area. As a key member of our Executive Team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving manufacturing processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Provide senior leadership to the Manufacturing Operations teams and develop a culture and structure that supports the company's rapid growth and strategic investments.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement balanced scorecard management approaches, including metrics that align departmental objectives with those of peer functions and the company's broader strategic agenda.
- Manufacturing Excellence: Establish and continually improve manufacturing processes that ensure successful project completion and allow the organization to achieve its strategic objectives.
- Performance Measurement: Establish systems and fact-based decision processes that allow for the measurement of manufacturing performance and the assessment of strategic supply chain opportunities.
- Accountability and Rewards: Establish structures and processes that ensure accountability for the achievement of results and rewards performance.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure that all projects are delivered with uncompromising quality, in accordance with client expectations at all levels, on an on-time and on-budget basis.
- Employee Engagement: Maintain high levels of employee morale, training, and development, while upholding cultural standards focused on Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
- Safety and Quality Champion: Serve as a champion of the company's safety, health, environmental, and quality objectives through an environment of empowering and engaging employees.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 15 years of career experience managing, fabrication, and assembly processes with a demonstrated pattern of increased responsibility in management roles.
- Manufacturing Expertise: Experience building and managing a manufacturing organization in a high-growth or turnaround environment.
- Strategic Management: Demonstrated experience in a Senior Management role managing multi-site manufacturing operations, as well as in the expansion of existing facilities and/or start-up of new properties.
- Technical Skills: Experience with batch and cell fabrication of highly engineered modular systems, high-volume flow manufacturing processes, and team-oriented management approaches.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
