We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a Behavioral Therapist - Autism Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative team of BCBAs, providing high-quality therapy services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Provide school consultation to public and private schools in Delaware and northern Maryland
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior support plans for individual students engaging in high-risk behavior
- Train teachers and paraeducators to implement behavior plans, monitor fidelity of implementation, and track progress
- Give trainings to school-based staff on behavioral interventions
- Provide systems-level consultation to special education programs serving students with intensive needs, working with school leadership to define universal educational practices for autistic support and other specialized settings
- A collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional development and role expansion

- Masters degree from a behaviorally-based, accredited college/university in special education, psychology, or other related field
- Current BCBA certification
- Minimum of two years of experience in the direct delivery of behavior analytic services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders/behavioral challenges as a BCBA, and at least one year of experience consulting/working within a school setting
