Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient acuity and develop individualized care plans

• Assess patients and review medical records to formulate care plans

• Provide nursing care to patients with complex medical needs, including those with restrictive, obstructive, and vascular pulmonary diseases

• Perform remote continuous observation of telemetry monitors and provide care for patients with inserted/implanted central venous access devices (CVADs)

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care

Requirements

• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred

• Current RN license in the State of Kentucky; new graduates may work under a provisional license for up to 6 months

• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within 30 days of hire

• Handle With Care (HWC) certification required within 6 months of hire
