We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our underwriting team as an Insurance Operations Specialist. This role will involve assisting in account maintenance, learning underwriting tasks, and contributing to organizational effectiveness.

Salary:$65,000 - $85,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in ordering, analyzing, and interpreting inspections on accounts written.
  2. Navigate and understand numerous company manuals.
  3. Process policy audits, quote renewal accounts, and bind new business as tasked.
  4. Contribute to organization effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed.
  5. Maintain professional underwriting and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
Requirements
  • 2-year degree in General Business or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Insurance or related field (preferred).
  • Confidentiality, analytical skills, research skills, attention to detail, decision-making, coordination, teamwork, and general math skills.
