About Proton

Proton is a revolutionary company leading the charge in the wholesale distribution industry. We're changing the game with AI-powered CRM software that drives 10x ROI, speeds up new hire ramp-up, and boosts sales team morale.

About the Role

We're seeking a versatile and proactive individual who thrives on variety and isn't afraid to dive into different projects. As a key member of our marketing team, you'll have the opportunity to expand into various marketing initiatives as we grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Develop and execute a variety of content, including blog posts, thought leadership articles, customer success stories, and eBooks that resonate with our target audience in the distribution industry.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and manage Proton's presence at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Handle all logistics, from selecting events to coordinating schedules and managing pre- and post-event engagement strategies.
  • Campaign Management: Develop and execute nurture campaigns that engage and convert leads through targeted email marketing and social media efforts.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and marketing initiatives align with our business goals.
  • Emerging Opportunities: Be ready to dive into new tasks and projects as they come up.
Requirements
  • High Bias for Action: You're not just about ideas-you're about execution and results.
  • Curiosity and Love for Learning: You're deeply curious and love learning about all things marketing.
  • Self-Starter: You take ownership of your work and enjoy managing projects end-to-end.
  • Adaptability: You can quickly adapt to changing priorities and enjoy the flexibility of working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong Writing and Communication Skills: You're a strong writer and communicator who can craft content that speaks directly to our audience.
  • Project Management Skills: You're highly organized and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities.
  • Industry Knowledge: You're curious and eager to learn about the wholesale distribution industry.
  • Collaboration: You thrive in a collaborative, results-driven environment and are excited to contribute to the success of a growing team.
Location and Travel

We're looking for someone in the greater Boston area who is open to a hybrid schedule-3 days in the office per week. This role will require occasional travel to visit customers and prospects in the field, and to attend trade shows and events.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive Salaries and Company Stock Options: We value your contribution and want you to feel like an owner.
  • Unlimited PTO and 10 Company Paid Holidays: We prioritize work-life balance and provide tools to ensure you can recharge regularly.
  • 401k with Employer Contribution (US only): We contribute up to 3% of your salary to help you prepare for the future, whether you contribute or not.
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance: We cover one medical plan 100% in the USA and cover 50% for dependents.
  • 12 Weeks Fully Paid Parental Leave: For all caregivers, including adoption and fostering.
  • Annual Company Paid Onsites: Time for us to come together, brainstorm, and create new strategies.
