Veterinarian - Mobile Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinarian to join our team as a Mobile Imaging Specialist. As a key member of our mobile veterinary ultrasound team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to animal hospitals in the Nashville area.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct ultrasound scans to complete abdominal exams, thoracic exams, confirm pregnancy, estimate litter size, confirm fetal viability, investigate parathyroids & thyroid glands, cryptorchid exams, ocular exams, and/or general health screens.
- Use echocardiography to determine the source and extent of cardiac pathology.
- Perform ultrasound-guided fluid cavity centesis.
- Execute ultrasound-guided biopsy to include tru-cut tissue core biopsies (14ga.) and fine-needle biopsy.
- Write accurate and detailed medical reports.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
- At least five years of veterinary clinical experience.
- Ultrasound experience highly preferred.
We offer comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this role. Our team of experienced veterinarians will provide training for up to 4 months, and additional training and support will be provided by SVP internists, radiologists, and cardiologists.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands of this role include sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. You will be required to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 40 pounds without assistance.
