Salary and Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary of $17 per hour and bonuses up to $800 per month*, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, health savings account, flexible spending account, dependent care spending account, supplement life insurance, 401(k), accident, critical illness, identity protection, and team member assistance program. Plus, you'll receive $25,000 in company-paid life insurance and a wide variety of additional perks.
Job Description:
The Registered Dental Assistant works under the supervision of the Lead RDA and is responsible for various tasks in the dental office, ranging from patient care and education to administrative duties to laboratory functions. This role requires flexibility and availability to provide dental assistance and perform front desk duties based on patient needs and office management directions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dentist examination through pre-exam evaluations, including iTero scanning, X-rays, medical history, and obtaining vitals.
- Build relationships with patients to ensure they feel comfortable and relaxed throughout their visit.
- Assist the dentist with dental charting, chair-side procedure assistance, such as suctioning, swabbing, placing and removing rubber dams/matrices/wedges, applying topical anesthetics, and preparing materials and instruments.
- Perform infection control according to CDC, ADA, and OSHA standards; sterilize treatment rooms before and after patient visits, sterilize instruments, and maintain other work areas.
- Advanced duties include sealant application and nitrous monitoring after completing required courses.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A valid RDA license within six months of hire.
- CPR certification is highly preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
