Key Responsibilities- Evaluation and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including review of medical history, performance of assessments, and development of treatment plans. Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and families, and involve them in goal-setting.
- Treatment Implementation and Documentation: Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and patient presentation. Accurately and timely document patient care activities, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, and discharge evaluations.
- Discharge Planning and Follow-up Care: Complete discharge planning and follow-up care for patients, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
- Productivity and Time Management: Meet productivity expectations, manage an accurate schedule, and demonstrate effective time management skills.
- Professional Development and Education: Pursue continuing education opportunities to maintain professional growth and competency. Serve as a clinical instructor for students and assist with orientation and mentoring of new staff.
- Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
- Licensure: Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure required, as deemed necessary for specific locations.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
The hiring range for this position is $72,758.40 - $123,260.80.
