Position Overview:
The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for defining, developing, and implementing technology controls and information security policies, programs, and tools. This role provides specialized expertise in assessing risks, identifying vulnerabilities, and offering security solutions to mitigate risks and safeguard the organization.
Engages in projects of moderate to high complexity, delivering comprehensive reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional, business line, or enterprise level.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Participates in complex, comprehensive, or large-scale projects and initiatives
Acts as a leading expert resource in technology controls and information security for project teams, the organization, and external vendors
Possesses advanced knowledge of organizational technology controls, security, and risk management issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Information security certification or accreditation is advantageous
7+ years of relevant experience
Expertise in IT security and risk management practices
Preferred Qualifications
4-6 years of experience managing vulnerability scanning tools, such as Qualys, Rapid7, and Tenable, with familiarity in all phases of the Vulnerability Management program.
Possesses advanced programming skills, including Python and PowerShell, with experience in developing metrics for informed decision-making.
Experience in leading proactive patching initiatives across the organization, including the creation of automated patching solutions, enhancing patching SLAs, and improving patching governance.
