We are currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to be a vital part of our team. This role is essential in supporting our strategic goals and will report directly to the Operations HR Manager. The selected candidate will play a key role in implementing and assessing employee programs, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring departmental policies align with our organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the communication and application of company policies and procedures to foster understanding across the organization.
- Oversee the complete recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding of candidates.
- Support managers during the performance evaluation process and follow-up meetings for new hires.
- Maintain and update job descriptions, ensuring accurate classification of positions.
- Facilitate the annual performance review and merit increase process.
- Assist in managing disciplinary procedures and the termination process to uphold fairness.
- Organize and develop staff training sessions and workshops as required.
- Guide new employee onboarding activities, addressing queries and assisting managers in integrating new hires.
- Become knowledgeable about employee benefit programs and respond to related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate electronic records for employees, including new hires and terminations.
- Collaborate with site leadership to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Address employment-related inquiries and manage employee relations issues, conducting investigations as necessary.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance the work experience for all team members.
- Support enterprise HR initiatives across various Trystar locations as needed.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or operational setting.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR Management Systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, MBA (HR Track), or a Master's in Industrial and Labor Relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws at local, state, and federal levels.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and HR Management Systems.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
