Job Summary:
Healthcare Support is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team as a travel professional. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, including the setup and operation of imaging equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining informed consent.
- Assist the physician during procedures, including injecting contrast media and monitoring the patient's vital signs.
- Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in a related field, such as radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology.
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT).
- 1-2 years of experience in a cath lab setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
