Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our team in Fort Lauderdale. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our General Dentists in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to all patients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience in our office.
- Assist in the sterilization of instruments and equipment, maintaining the highest standards of infection control.
- Take X-rays and enter patient treatment plans with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Present cases and educate patients on insurance benefits, promoting informed decision-making.
- Perform temporary crowns and bridges, and pack cord with precision and skill.
- Support the office and Dentist with daily operations, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient patient care.
Requirements
- Hold Expanded Functions and Radiography certifications.
- Have a minimum of one year of experience in Oral Surgery, with expertise in sedation.
- Be prepared for occasional travel as part of your role.
