Job Summary

Beacon Orthopaedic Partners MSO LLC is seeking a skilled Perioperative Care Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the surgical team during procedures, preparing and maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team during operative procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Assist with patient care, including transferring patients to and from the operating room, and providing basic care and comfort measures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support Course preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a perioperative setting, with a focus on patient care and surgical assistance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
