Job Summary
CRAVE American Kitchen & Sushi Bar seeks a highly skilled and motivated Bartender to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Responsibilities:
  • Taking beverage orders from serving staff or directly from guests.
  • Verifying age requirements for the purchase of alcohol by checking identification.
  • Communicating effectively with guests using clear and enthusiastic tone and body language.
  • Making guests feel appreciated through your actions.
  • Counting drinks served to ensure accuracy.
  • Being attentive and offering assistance before guests have to ask for it.
  • Working collaboratively with other personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and efficient food and beverage service.
  • Collecting payment for drinks served.
  • Mixing ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
  • Serving wine, bottled or draft beer.
  • Limiting problems related to excessive drinking by persuading guests to stop or ordering transportation.
  • Preparing bar ingredients made in-house and stocking garnishes.
  • Cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
  • Removing recycling full of empty bottles.
  • Cleaning bars, work areas, and tables.
  • Balancing cash drawer at the end of the shift.

Requirements:
  • Alcohol Service Certification is preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills to handle money and give correct change.
  • Basic reading skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, as well as standard drink recipes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask.

Estimated Salary: $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
