Job Description

ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality educational experiences for students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique abilities.
  • Adapt and modify curriculum materials and instructional strategies to meet students' learning requirements.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff to ensure inclusive education practices.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
