Hygienist Opportunity at Burlington Family Dentistry

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hygienist to contribute to our team's mission of delivering exceptional patient care and creating a warm, welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough dental cleanings and hygiene procedures tailored to each patient's needs
  • Take x-rays and intraoral photos to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Develop and present personalized treatment plans to patients
  • Collaborate with our Dentist to ensure comprehensive care and make recommendations as needed
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance on maintaining a healthy smile
  • Stay up-to-date with infection control protocols and ensure a safe working environment
  • Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling, patient communication, and supply management
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree from an ADA-accredited Dental Hygiene program
  • Current state licensure and CPR/BLS certification
  • Proficiency in dental patient management software, such as Open Dental or Dentrix
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations
