Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat mental illness by providing psychotherapy and managing medication.
  • Collaborate with various clinical populations, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and more.
  • Provide positive encouragement to focus on your clinical passion and support professional development through a caring team culture.
  • Participate in a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements:

  • Current State of Illinois licensure in good standing as an Advanced Practice Nurse and RN.
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Training (ANCC).
  • Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
  • Current CPR certification must be maintained (BLS).
  • Based on prescriptive authority, active Mid-level Practitioner Controlled Substance License and DEA License (a plus).
  • A minimum of 5 years previous experience in behavioral health nursing is required.
