Teppan Grill Master

Job Summary:

As a Teppan Chef at Benihana, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This role requires a high level of culinary expertise, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cook and Prepare Meals: Cook and prepare hot meals on hibachi tables directly in front of guests, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Ensure Food Quality and Safety: Maintain the kitchen areas and hibachi tables clean and sanitized, and ensure that all food is handled and cooked in accordance with Benihana's food safety policies.
• Provide Excellent Guest Service: Engage, entertain, and interact with guests to provide a unique and memorable dining experience.
• Prepare and Set Up Food: Prepare and set up food for cooking and side orders, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.

Requirements:

• Culinary Expertise: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Teppan Chef or in a similar role, with a strong background in Japanese cuisine.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, and to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
