About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at USA Properties Fund in Reno, Nevada. As a key member of our community management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical integrity of our 187-unit senior community, DCCS/Grace Senior.

Job Summary

The Facilities Manager will report to the Community Manager and work closely with the maintenance team to anticipate, identify, and correct any issues affecting the property. This includes maintaining a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors, and co-workers. A successful candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to implement procedures to prevent problems from arising.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the overall appearance and condition of the community's buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Supervise maintenance staff and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the community to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute unit turns, repairs, and renovations.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
