About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic/Assembler to join our team at Boeing. As an Aircraft Mechanic/Assembler, you will play a critical role in the production of our aircraft, working closely with our team to ensure the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install various parts and assemblies, including brackets, fittings, angles, frames, splices, etc.
  • Operate mechanical lifts of various types, including fiber optic clean and inspection, light loss testing, routing and installation.
  • Work with high-hazard chemicals, including solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints, and special finishes.
  • Inspect work quality and check for FOD (Foreign Object Debris).
  • Capable of operating heavy machinery, including cranes, stands, movers, lifts, etc.
  • Verify and ensure FAA compliance with Quality Management System.
Requirements
  • Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
  • ~1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.
  • ~1+ year of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications.
  • 1+ years of aviation experience (school included).
  • ~ Ability to work with High Hazard Chemicals.
  • ~ Flexion/Extension (head bent down, head bent back), Handling, Kneeling, Bending at the waist, Reaching (overhead), Rotation of head/neck, Standing, Twisting at the waist and walking.
  • ~ Climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), Crawling, Crouching (squatting).
  • ~ High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
