We are in search of a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the urgent care and primary care environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure exceptional patient service while collaborating with a healthcare team. You will operate within the established medical protocols and perform assigned duties to deliver timely, comprehensive, and proficient medical assistance. The ideal candidate will possess experience as a medical receptionist, showcasing strong customer service skills, teamwork, and a commitment to patient care excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients with courtesy and efficiency.
  • Exhibit a friendly demeanor and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Facilitate patient check-in and check-out processes to optimize patient flow.
  • Maintain clear communication with patients regarding wait times and next steps in their care.
  • Understand the insurance verification process and accurately input data into the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Address patient inquiries and problems effectively, seeking assistance in urgent situations.
  • Complete patient check-in and check-out tasks as necessary.
  • Accurately gather and document patient information.
  • Ensure examination rooms are maintained and stocked as needed.
  • Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Act with integrity and honesty in all professional interactions, including patient records and financial transactions.
  • Handle deposits and manage cash transactions.
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel, knowledgeable about HIPAA regulations, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines, scanners, and copiers.
  • Willingness to travel to other clinics as required.
  • Commit to regular and consistent attendance.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.


Work Schedule:

At QuickVisit, our full-time positions offer the flexibility of working 3 or 4 days per week. Our 12-hour shifts provide you with the opportunity to enjoy more time at home. Full-time team members earn a generous amount of paid time off in their first year. After one year of service, you will receive an additional 5 days for Continued Medical Education, along with a stipend for CME. We prioritize family time by closing on most major holidays. Our goal is to provide benefits that allow our team members to cherish valuable moments with their loved ones. (Our clinics operate Monday – Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM, Saturdays from 8 AM to 6 PM, and Sundays from 1 PM to 5 PM.)
